Oh, Wednesdays! 😄

🙏🏽 just a reminder... if you see a friend or colleague mentioned in the newsletter, please forward it to them or share the link with 'em so they know and can feel appreciated - thanks!

I could rant about this for quite a while. I LOVE posts like this because it reminds everyone that support truly is as cheap as a microsecond these days.

There are multiple times per day that I Like or Love a post before I've even read it or digested it. Why? Because it's a post from a friend or their business.

What else do I need to know?!

I wish everyone was this way.

Let's face it... NOT Liking or Loving (or commenting) a friend's post about or from their business is an INTENTIONAL act. And it speaks. Loudly.

So be supportive.

I get it though. With the algorithms being what they are today, we see fewer and fewer posts from our closest circles in our feeds. So things WILL be completely missed. (that's not what I'm talking about)

If you DO see a friend or colleague's post, show some love. It takes a literal microsecond. You have no idea how much that simple gesture means to someone who's taking on the world and doing their own thing, fighting their giants and slaying demons.

That "Like, Love or Share" from you may be the one shining light of encouragement in their day. Be that light.

It's the "social media" world we live in today and these actions (or lack thereof) are a valid form of communication and send messages whether you want to acknowledge it or not.

(Be on the winning side of this communication)

If you were at a networking event and someone came up to you, stuck out their hand and said, "Hello, nice to meet you", would you just stand there and stare at them without responding? And then walk away?

No. Of course, you wouldn't.

So don't be that person on social media.

Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
