After all was said and done, according to Clarksville Now, the overall voting turnout was just below average. Since 2008, voting turnout average was just under 15%. For 2022 that figure came in at 12.46%.
So overall, bad. π€£
BUT, not horrible considering the averages. π€·ββοΈ
I wanna take a moment and let ya know something. And if you're reading this, then it doesn't really pertain to you. BUT I wanted to put this out there, just so I can say... that I said it.
π This newsletter is NOT about amassing as many subscribers as possible. I just don't care about that, at all.
It's about UTILITY!
π€ utility (noun): something useful or designed for use
Regularly, I'll be going through and unsubscribing folks that haven't opened a single email.
Toast.
They're gone.
(first purge is coming next week)
Why even subscribe to something you don't care to read? π€¦ββοΈ
And more than that, folks that RARELY ever open the emails and read the newsletter will also be getting the boot.
Why?
I would rather serve 500 local Clarksvillians who are actually OPENING, reading and finding the value in this email newsletter, than have...
50,000 subscribers who hardly ever open or read it.
Truly, quality over quantity.
There's my public service announcement. π
On a different note...
I had a great week! π€©
I'm grateful to have been invited by Laurel Judd to attend a Chamber meeting for Military Affairs where Pure Sweat + Float Studio received a featured business spotlight. I'll be sharing an "official" post about it next week along with some great pictures I was able to snap. It was cool to be surrounded by such amazing folks who are making an impact on Clarksville and the Fort Campbell area.
And yesterday, I got to attend the first (of hopefully many) axe throwing meetups for middle-aged homeschoolers over at The Axe Throwing Place in Sango. All the kids had a blast and it was cool to watch them attempt to master something that's much harder than it looks. π A post coming all about that next week, too.
Have a wonderful weekend!
~Jordan Mulson
ππ½ just a reminder... if you see a friend or colleague mentioned in the newsletter, please forward it to them or share the link with 'em so they know and can feel appreciated - thanks!

Sadly, this is controversial. But we believe in what Brandon is doing. He's had his accounts deleted, our account's received a strike for videos we've done featuring the farm, and the algorithm is trained to suppress this type of information. And the most important question is, WHY?
We've got a full interview with Brandon coming out next week, so be sure to watch for that on the Clarksville Messenger website. It's a good'n.
For now, read more below about the connection Brandon's discovering between CDB and cancer, as well as other health challenges.
