Happy Tuesday!

Another week is upon us, and Monday's officially out of the way. 👏

If you're like me (prolly like most) you try to do too much.

I wish I'd hurry up and learn my lesson. 🤣

The nature of this newsletter (big "duh" moment coming) is very much a daily thing. A griiiiind. It's not something that can be created and scheduled out over the course of days. (oh, how I wish it was)

So... I'll be traveling back home from visiting family over the next couple days. If all goes to plan, I'll be comin' in hot Friday morning with a thick edition full of weekend happenings and some spotlights on other things.

For today, here's some haps coming at ya starting this morning and into tomorrow -AND- a few good things happening this weekend that you should know about now so you can get plans in motion if you're interested.

FREE Summer Storytime at Mochas at Mochas & Minis Indoor Play & Cafe | 11am | All ages 8 and under are welcome! Join for a funtastic time of storytelling!

Now You're Dining With Fire at Edward's Steakhouse | 2 Seatings; 5-7pm & 7:30-9:30pm for $100/person | Help raise money for the Clarksville Firefighters Foundation. Edward's Steakhouse will be hosting two seating times and a to-go plate pick-up option. Firefighters will be serving salad, a chicken breast & 6 oz sirloin with baked potato & seasonal vegetables, and a piece of cheesecake. Cash bar will also be available.

Kids' Night at The Thirsty Goat | 4-7pm | Tuesday Night kids night from 4:00-7:00! Kids pizzas are $0.99 with a free drink with the purchase of one regular sized pizza! (limit 2 kids pizzas per regular pizza)

KBB Brew Crew Run with Tacos Azteca at Kings Bluff Brewery | 6-8pm | Brought to you by Fleet Feet Clarksville & Tacos Azteca. Tacos Azteca will be there from 5-8pm and the Brew Crew run starts at 6pm! We have mapped three different routes that you can do that start and end at KBB!

BrainBlast Trivia at Blackhorse Pub & Brewery | 10pm | Join in the Taproom for BrainBlast Trivia, starting at 10:00 PM. Grab your friends and put your random knowledge to the test for your chance to win a Blackhorse gift card for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! Also featuring $3 drafts, $3 wells, and $3 shots of Fireball starting at 9pm.

🌟 CMCSS Hiring Event | 8am-Noon | Over 140 classified positions available throughout the district. The career fair will be held at 621 Gracey Ave. Departments will offer same-day interviews and hiring on the spot for approved applicants.

We're Grilling Up A Job Fair at US Staffing Agency | 10am-2pm | Not only will you have the chance to land an awesome summer job, but you'll also get a chance to win some incredible prizes.

Skate and Sing-a-Long With Your Favorite Mouse at Magic Wheels | 5:30-7:30pm for $12/person (including skates) | A special night of skating, play, and singing-a-long. Your Favorite Mouse will be in attendance! Every child must pay admission to enter.

BrainBlast Trivia at 105 Social | 7-8pm | 105 Social is ready with FREE table vs table trivia every Wednesday! Free to play with prizes, come join the fun! Music, laughs prizes, and more!

Fun With Epoxy And Resin Workshop at ArtLink | 6:30-8:30pm for $36 | We will be creating gummy bear earrings and a letter key chain through the use of Epoxy resin and UV light. Swirl colors, glitter, and metallic flakes into your mold and make it your own kind of stylish! This will be a fun workshop with cool people. All supplies will be provided.

Saturday, 7/30

Taste Of Clarksville 2022 at Emmanuel Family Life Center | 12-5pm | Inside on July 30th you can find the Caterers and Cooks Corner and the EFLC Retail Center. Outside you can stroll through the Concord Realty Food Truck Alley and the Blood Assurance donation truck. (full list of vendors at event link above)

Caprigios 1st Annual Back To School Block Party at Caprigios Pizza | 3-5pm | Back To School Block Party with Local Vendors supporting each other on Support your Small Business Saturday! There is no charge to come and enjoy yourselves. The only thing we ask is that you donate something for the kids for back to School. We will have a huge Box that will be used for donations.

🌟 Farm To Table Dinner at Public Square | 6-9pm for $75/person | At the Clarksville Farm to Table Dinner, enjoy a meal of local fare and drinks under the glow of 1 Public Square, Downtown Clarksville along with live music! For one night only the Clarksville Downtown Market brings local food directly to your table. Guests can enjoy a chef-prepared farm-to-table dinner catered by Nicoletta's. This meal showcases the best of what the Market vendors have to offer each Saturday during the Market season. Many of the vegetables, herbs, meats, fruits, and desserts served are grown, produced, and made right here in the surrounding Clarksville area.
