Scriptures & Sawdust is now... THE GOOBS SMALL BUSINESS WAREHOUSE!

There's SO many exciting things happening up at this location; 260 Needmore Road. They've announced a new cafe on location, Bubblin' Brews, from the folks that operate Cafe Doughver - and they're serving up Chicago dogs, fresh artisan sandwiches, coffee treats and a whole lot more, and they're rolling out lots of events for moms with kiddos and community-driven events that are fun for the whole family. (see some of those events happening this week, below)

The new owners, Haley & Chris, are a married couple and are so, so excited for their new adventure. They also recently joined the Clarksville Chamber of Commerce and had their ribbon cutting AND celebrated their grand opening.

The Clarksville Montgomery County Regional Planning Commission is hosting 2 vision planning workshops today. Why is this important? These workshops allow YOU as a Clarksville-area resident to have a voice. Go out, share your opinions, and help shape the city you live in. There will be door prizes and snacks for the evening workshop. Lunch will be provided by Taco Azteca and Say Cheese Please for the Noon workshop.

Learn To Sew with The Red Thread at The Goobs Small Business Warehouse | 6-8pm for $20 | This class covers the basics of your sewing machine and how to get started. You get to choose a small project to do, to put your newly learned skills to practice. MUST HAVE a sewing machine, fat quarter of fabric and coordinating thread color.

Real Estate Blockchain & Crypto Seminar at Sanctuary On Main | 6-9pm | Learn from Christina Swyers, one of the first agents in the USA to put her listings on the blockchain! Learn about the technology, digital currency and more. All at the beautiful SoM.

Sunset Yoga at Downtown Commons | 7:30-8:45pm | Bring your mat, a bottle of water (or two) and a friend. End your day in the heart of our city. Class is led by Hot Yoga & Fitness.

Company Cabaret: Broadway Hits at Roxy Regional Theatre | 7-9pm for $25 | A special night of music and entertainment, featuring professional actors who come from all over the country. Musical selections will vary but all will be enjoyable.

THURSDAY 7/14

Free Admission @ First Thursday Art Walk at Customs Museum | 5-8pm | The Museum will offer free admission during Art Walk so go see exhibiting artist Stephanie J Brown as she presents a demo during Art Walk. That Taste of Florida food truck will be serving up the yum.

River City Clay Student Show & Anniversary at River City Clay | They're celebrating ONE YEAR with a student show and party! They'll be showing off student work to highlight the growth and passion for clay that has developed over the past year. Food and refreshments will be served. Door prizes too!

ACE Party Band Downtown @ Sundown at Downtown Commons | Starting at 7pm | ACE Party Band has a sound for everyone with a versatile set list with everything from Michael Jackson to Chris Stapleton. Local food trucks will also be on site, including Burgasm, Firelime Offshore Grill and more. Of course Tater Headz will be open too.

Britt Dignan LIVE at Tennessee Valley Brewing Co | 7pm | Come out and see Britt Dignan LIVE at TVBC. Britt's got a great voice and TVBC's got great brew. Win-win.

• Community garden is planned for Rotary Park. Rotary Park could soon be home to a free community garden, thanks for a grant from AARP. It's not final yet, but looking promising.
