Leatherwood Distillery OPENS Doors Today!

If you're not yet familiar with Leatherwood, lemme share some deets with ya...

During his early years of service, Leatherwood’s Founder and current Head Distiller, Andrew Lang, discovered his passion and skill for brewing in 1996, while perfecting his homemade sweet southern wines. Sparked by his craft and love for producing quality spirits, Lang began distilling batches of wines and brews for his Special Forces team while stationed overseas.

Now, years after retiring from the Green Berets, Lang continues to distill craft spirits back home in Nashville, Tennessee. Using homemade designs, Lang’s current still produces rums, ryes, bourbons, moonshines and many other spirits for purchase at his Leatherwood Distillery located in Pleasant View and now, right here in Clarksville.

Friday Night Open Gym at Infinity Cheer & Tumbling | 5:30-7:30pm for $15/child | Join in for inflatables, ninja obstacles, games and much more! No age requirements to participate. Under 6 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Friday Night Kids Drop Off Class - Koala at Courtney's Creative Palette | Starts 5:30pm | Friday nights are the best when we have our kid's class because we allow them all to come to paint with us, get creative and have fun! This Friday we are painting this fun little koala! We will serve pizza and water during the class. We ask for the kids to be age 6 years and up since this is a drop-off class.

KIDS NOT UR PARENTS ART NIGHT at ArtLink | 6-8:30pm | This class is created for parents to drop off their creative kids for a few hours so they can learn new techniques and create one of a kind pieces. Ages 6 and up (this is for kids who are interested in creating and can follow directions if you would like to see if your child can do this class but isn’t in the preferred age send us a message to talk about it) Supplies are included. Cost is $25. Drop off begins 6PM And pick up by 830PM.

Fun With Epoxy And Resin Workshop at ArtLink | 6:30-8:30pm for $36 | We will be creating gummy bear earrings and a letter key chain through the use of Epoxy resin and UV light. Swirl colors, glitter, and metallic flakes into your mold and make it your own kind of stylish! This will be a fun workshop with cool people. All supplies will be provided.

Erin Handley-Truckenmiller at Tennessee Valley Brewing Co | Starts 7pm | LIVE music and fresh craft brew. Sound like a good Friday night here!

Teen Career Day with Youth Engagement Service | Starts 9am | Taking place at 2650 Trenton Road at the Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing. Great free event for teenagers to learn about and discuss various careers. Refreshments will be provided.

First Responder Back to School Bash at MCTN Sheriff's Office | 9am-3pm | First Responders are hosting a Back to School Bash. First Responders will have vehicles, equipment, and teams to interact with. Food, Music, and Vendors will be out as well. First Responders are asking for donations of school supplies or backpacks to be delivered to families needing a little help this year.

Taste Of Clarksville 2022 at Emmanuel Family Life Center | 12-5pm | Inside on July 30th you can find the Caterers and Cooks Corner and the EFLC Retail Center. We love it so much, one of our artists painted it and wants to teach everyone and anyone how to paint their own Starry Night! We will walk you through every step of this class! Rachel McCamy at Beachaven Winery | 2-5pm | LIVE music with Rachel outside at the winery from 2-5pm.

Drawing Workshop at ArtLink | 4-5pm | Learn to draw and have some fun! Each drawing class will go over some basic techniques and build upon to create something fun. Each workshop we will take a deep dive and focus on a different technique or style to build your drawing tool box. These are small intimate group settings to maximize learning and master new skills. Cost is $20.
