Labor Day Weekend 2022 RECAP

Butterflies, Possums, and Flood Alerts, OH MY!

⛈ 82° / 67° | 62% Chance of rain

estimated read time 2min 25sec

Did you do anything special this weekend?

If you're usually busy, "nothing" counts as special. 😎 It's one of my favorite "special" things to do. 😂

It was a weekend filled with flood warnings, too. It seemed like my phone was binging with another weather or flood warning every other hour. I was pleased to hear that no one was severely affected.

I hope you had a great LDW and are ready for the week ahead!

🙏🏽 just a reminder... if you see a friend or colleague mentioned in the newsletter, please forward it to them or share the link with 'em so they know and can feel appreciated - thanks!

🇺🇸 Labor Day Weekend Recap

🦋 13th Annual Butterfly Festival

Despite the weather and some rain delays, the Butterfly Festival had a great turnout. Over 4,000 people attended the festival up in Oak Grove at War Memorial Walking Trail to witness the release of over 1,500 Viceroy Butterflies.

🎸 POSSUMSTOCK 2022

This local underground music festival kicked off last Thursday at Pope Farms down in Ashland City and ran through the weekend. By the looks of it, a lot of music was shared and tons of fun was had. 😎 Possumstock was started back in 2014 by local musician Cody Parson in order to showcase local area musicians, after their local hot spot, The Coup, was closed down.
