Clarksville's gone corporate-burger crazy with Sonic building a 7th location and talks of 2 more Whataburger locations.

ANOTHER Sonic On Madison - Clarksville's 7th
According to a building permit pulled for a site located at 1805 Madison Street, it seems that Clarksville is getting its 7th Sonic location. This one just a couple miles down Madison from the other.
Mat Smiley, plans examiner for Clarksville Building Codes, confirmed with Leaf Chronicle that the permit had been pulled. Specific details or a construction timetable have not yet been released.
TWO MORE Whataburgers Could Be Coming To Clarksville
In addition to the current Whataburger site being planned for the former Shoney's at North 2nd Street and Riverside, two more sites are now being considered. One potential location is 1602 Haynes Street off of Madison, and the other is on the corner of Fort Campbell and 101st Airborne Division Parkway.
Now, all of the Whataburger locations being considered by the city of Clarksville are currently without building permits - even though the 1st location has plans approved by the design board - so there's nothing officially official. Things can change, shift, or completely dissolve. You know how that goes.
Sooooo... it seems that the city of Clarksville has the hots for corporate-burger joints.
