Speaking honestly and candidly, it's been WAY harder and more time-consuming than I ever thought. But, worthy things always are, aren't they? 😆 Knowing that, I still tend to oversimplify things.

I'm looking forward to serving Clarksville in a way that seems to be desperately needed. Information is so scattered and superfluous that finding what's TRULY valuable is literally a full time job.

I know this is at an infant stage, but I encourage you to become a financial supporter. It’s just $8/mo or $88/yr. And even though it’s next to nothing, it’d help greatly. Plus, it’d give you some extra perks too.

I'd be deeply grateful.

If you have something to promote, ads and sponsored stories right now are dirt cheap. As little as $10. Everything’s evergreen and would live on the web indefinitely, not just a one time email. Today, I'm just going to share what the haps are for Sunday.

• Sunday July 10 •

🐶🐱 Jump Around for Donations at 601 Pollard Rd | Starting at 12 Noon | Food Trucks & Vendors Galore | This is a fundraiser for Montgomery County Animal Shelter. There will be face painting, jump houses, an obstacle course, crafts, animal adoptions for those interested, a water slide, and more! Entrance fee can be a donation in the form of money or food for the animals.

🖼 Sunday Funday Crafts at The CMC Public Library | 1:30-4:30pm | Join in on the crafty fun down at the library. For kids of all ages. This event will be happening in the children's library area.

🍿 Sunday Movie: Jumanji at The CMC Public Library | 2-4pm | Head up to the library for a fun and free movie, Jumanji. The movie is being shown in the children's library story theatre area.

🎤 Johnathan Len Performing LIVE at Beachaven Winery | 2-5pm | Johnathan Len will be performing outside at the winery. Food truck on site is going to be Regina Margherita. YUM! Grab some wine, grab some grub and enjoy the soulfully southern vocals from Johnathan.

✏️ Drawing Workshop by ArtLink Clarksville | 4-5pm $20/pp | Learn to draw and have some fun! Each class goes over basic drawing techniques to build your skills. This is a small, intimate drawing class. (♻️ This class is every Sunday at 4pm)

🍻 Cousins Maine Lobster at Tap House 57 | 4-7pm | Not so much an "event" but DEFINITELY a local favorite! Tap House 57 welcomes back Cousins, so grab some beer, some tail - of the Lobster of course - and enjoy some down time.

The Clarksville Montgomery County Regional Planning Commission is hosting 3 vision planning workshops. Why is this important? These workshops allow YOU as a Clarksville-area resident to have a voice. Go out, share your opinions, and help shape the city you live in. There will be door prizes and snacks for the evening workshops. Lunch will be provided by Taco Azteca and Say Cheese Please for the Noon workshop.

Workshop 1: Monday 7/11 | 7:30-9pm at Civic Hall

Workshop 2: Tuesday 7/12 | Noon-2pm at Kenwood HS

Workshop 3: Tuesday 7/12 | 6-8pm at Old Glory Distilling
